安徽人，祖籍颍上，生于霍邱，长于合肥。先后求学于北京、武汉、北卡教堂山和纽约，曾工作于波士顿近郊剑桥市。坚信读书是一辈子的事，最大的成就感来自于几个比自己优秀的学生。
